I believe that everybody is responsible for taking an active role in their wellness and I am here to help guide and support them as they discover what real health feels like. It is a great honor to assist my patients in their journey and a tremendous joy when they thrive.
In my own rejuvenation time, I love spending time with my wonderful husband and our enthusiastic dogs out in nature; breathing fresh air and watching them frolic. My other passion is quilting. I can lose hours at a time creating baby quilts, wall hangings and other fabulous fabric confections, reveling in the textures colors and designs of this age-old skill. The only rival to my fabric stash is my book collection, which some days seems to expand all on its own and that’s totally fine with me.

Kim began working in the medical field right after graduating from Colorado College in 2001 with her Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She spent three years working in a pain management clinic and two years in occupational medicine. She then joined a family practice office with a predominantly elder population as a medical assistant, where she stayed until beginning her Acupuncture education.
Kim began her Acupuncture training in 2008 at Bastyr University and earned her Master of Science in Acupuncture degree in June of 2011. She is national board certified and Washington state licensed.
In addition to standard coursework, Kim took a nine month advanced course from Five Element practitioner Lonny Jarrett, author of Nourishing Destiny. The Five Element style of acupuncture addresses conditions at a psycho-emotional level as well as the physical.
Kim has also completed two years of training with Char Sundust in intuition development through shamanism techniques. She began her third year in the fall of 2011 and is currently certified to perform heart walks, house clearings and intuitive readings.
